Abstract Submission

 
Once your registration is completed, you will receive an e-mail with the following information: Access link to your personal congress account, username and password. Once you access your account from there you will be able to perform the following actions: change the information in the registration form (Registration), submit Abstracts, access your activities (this applies to coordinators, speakers, moderators, etc.) and review abstracts (applies only to the evaluation committee).

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FOR WASPaLM 2022

  • Abstracts can be submitted until February 28, 2022 at 12:00 CEST.

  • Notifications of abstracts (accepted, rejected, corrections) will be sent by March 30, 2022 at 12:00 CEST.

  • Abstract notifications (corrections: accepted or rejected) will be sent on April 7, 2022 at 12:00 CEST.

  • For abstracts chosen for oral presentation, the presentation slides must be send to the organization by April 30, 2022 at 12:00 CEST.

 

The only accepted language for abstracts and posters is English. In case of oral presentation, spanish and english will be accepted.

The submission template contains 4 fields, please fill your abstract body in the following fields: Background/Methods/Results/Conclusions

Authors
Please double check that the names of author(s) and their affiliation(s) are correctly spelled, with appropriate capitalization and punctuation. Names and affiliations cannot be edited by the submitter once submitted, and will be published exactly as inputted.

Text
ALL CAPS for text (other than abbreviations or acronyms) are not allowed. The abstract text may not be longer than a maximum of 350 words.

Title
Abstract titles must be submitted according to the scientific rules and should be succinct.
Titles in ALL CAPS (other than abbreviations or acronyms), brand names are not allowed.

Abstract body
Use the provided fields to draft your abstract. Please ensure that the different sections of your abstract are entered into the appropriate textbox. For research abstracts briefly state the background and context of research and its goals. The Methods section should provide minimum required information on the research setting, data collection and analytical methods used. Results presented in the abstract should not be previously published. For case report, emphasize the unique aspects of the case and discuss the learning points emerging from the case(s).

Tables
Authors may include a maximum of 1 table per abstract. If the table is inserted in the text field of the abstract body, please note that any words therein will count towards the total.

Submit your abstract
Please make sure to have all fields completed before you finally submit your abstract. You will receive a confirmation by email after the submission (please make sure to state your correct email address!). Changes in the abstract title are not possible after submission. Please note that emails regarding the submission (acceptance, rejection, corrections) will be sent to the submitter. All correspondence regarding acceptance or rejection, including further information
on the mode of presentation etc. will be sent to the submitter author.

Final check and certification
Following WASPaLM, a certificate of presentation will be sent to the submitter author only. He/She is then responsible for disseminating this certificate amongst any co-authors. For those with an oral presentation, the presentation slides must be send to the organization by the specified deadline in acceptance letter, as well as presented, in order for a certificate to be awarded.
